Happy father's day!

Let’s go back around 20 something years, I don’t know exactly what happened but I guess it should be something like this…

The first day I was born, the man held me in his arms and told himself that he will love me and take care of me the best he can.

The man who hates noise of baby crying is the same man who held me up and comforted me every time I cried.

The man who hates clothes shopping is the same man who takes me for shopping whenever I want.

The busiest business man I have ever seen is the same man who wandering around just to find a toy for me and my siblings every time he goes abroad.

The man who said the brand name stuffs are ridiculously expensive is the same man who bought me those stuffs without any complain.

The conservative man who thinks women should know how to cook is the same man who runs into kitchen every time I said I’m hungry.

The man who works real hard because he wants me to get the education as much as I can is the same man who said “you should go and relax sometimes” when I’m studying hard.

The man who is being so sarcastic enough to say “If any guy ever propose to you, I would give him hundred bags of rice so he wouldn’t return you to me” is the same man who said “No way she is still too young “ when the guy did propose or even want to go out with me.

The man who always goes to bed so early is same man who is waiting for me to come home until late at night when I’m going out with my friends or even the other man.

The shy man who never said “I love you” is the same man who loves me the most.

Today reminds me of one e-mail I received long time ago.

“…and then one day dad’s love is considered to be less than the other guy’s.

Dad’s doctrine become less loud than the other guy’s sweet words

Dad’s caring become less worthy than the other guy’s request

Dad’s hug seems to be less warm than the other guy’s

And today he just hopes that the other guy will love and cherish you at least half of what he has always been doing… “

Thank you dad, thank for bring me into this world to be your daughter.

I love you
