Something for nothing

Since I have walked along the street here in China,
I notice that there are way too many things that they have for NOTHING..
May I call them "something for nothing"
then I start to realize that there are still a lot of thing in our life we have or do for nothing.
Let's see...

  • Traffic lights that tell people to cross or not to cross the street. Whenever there is no car they cross it anyway and although sometimes it turns green, there is always a car comes straight to you from the middle of nowhere.
  • Trash can and ashtray. The state are generous enough to put the trash bins everywhere and every restaurant allow people to smoke plus they give you an ashtray, I have hardly seen anyone use them here.
  • Intellectual property right which surprisingly becomes one of priorities in this five years but geez! all the fake CDs and DVDs are found too easily. Step out of your house..TA-DA!! they are there.
  • Warning and hideous pictures on the cigarette packs. So far I haven't seen anyone quit because of them. We would rather make fun of them sometimes. People normally either quit because of their wives or inspiration inside them.
  • Waiters and waitress shouting something in the restaurant when you walk out, kind of "welcome again next time" thing, it'd rather make customers feel like running away from them when someone is shouting something from behind.
  • Doing nice things for a person who never love you. Trust me, there is a few cases but it's normally a waste of time. We don't love people because they are good, we love them just because we love them although they are being a bitch or an asshole in the world to us.
Finally, don't be serious. There is always an exception for everything in this funny world so when you see something that is off-limit and you can't do anything about it, just smile. There are still a lot of thing to see in this strange, funny, miserably wonderful big world.

Why didn't I write about it before? Such obvious idea! There's so many useless things you can find in China...

Good luck with Your own blog, bunny! ;-)
